Aerial Equipment

DJI Inspire 2   X7 Camera

The Inspire 2 drone is the current state of the art aircraft for aerial cinematography. Add the X7 camera, with super 35 sensor, the ability to shoot in Apple Pro Res or Cinema DNG RAW and complete lens package and you have all you need to capture stunning image quality from the sky!

DJI Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian

  • A real workhorse of an aircraft, the P4P Obsidian does so many things in a compact package. Shoot 4k H.264 at 60fps or H.265 at 30fps. It's an ideal drone for Film/TV projects that don't require the higher resolution formats and perfect for Enterprise jobs like inspections and construction surveying/mapping due to the 1" sensor/20 megapixel camera. I chose the dark colored version for better visibility against a bright sky!

3DR Solo Drone: Probably the most versatile drone in it's class. This is obviously on a smaller scale than the Inspire 2 but it surpasses a Phantom in what it can accomplish. It typically flies a GoPro Hero 4 Black camera but AD has taken it a step further. My Solo flies a Rib Cage modified GoPro that takes 4 different sizes of non-distortion, non-fisheye lenses for beautiful photos and video.

This drone also flies Kodak PixPro 360 4K Virtual Reality cameras with a special mount made specifically for the Solo.  If you're looking for scenic vistas in 360 VR I have that capability. The Solo will also fly a Fiilex AL250 production quality light source in place of the camera for an instant backlight or whatever else you can dream up. Aerial Domain owns both the Kodak PixPro 360 4k cameras and mount as well as the Fiilex AL 250 light source.
